The Fault in Our Stars by John GreenWhat did I like best about this book?
This book is my favorite book from John Green this is about a relationship between two cancer patients who meet each other in support group for surviving cancer patients. They have a friend in common who sort of sets them up. They switch they're favorite books and in return he falls in love with her favorite book. Augustus emails the author and they both visit him in Amsterdam. Summary: The story is mainly about Hazel and her life living with lung cancer. She usually dreads going out until she meets Augustus. She knows that one day she'll pass away and does not want to make ties with anyone that she doesn't have to because she doesn't want her death to affect them. Even though she doesn't want to she falls in love with Augustus. He also had cancer so they relate to each other. The book is mostly about their relationship, but it does not end well and one of them will be heartbroken. Sensitive Material: Sex scene but not too detailed and the main topic is cancer. There is also some inappropriate language. Recommended by Melanie R., Angel F., Aly R., Kamiko H., Laysha C., and Alonso C. |
